Senior Project Manager – North London – Residential Developer

Overview

Inthis role you will lead a high-profile, large-scale residential development in North London, guiding on-site teams and coordinating subcontractors to deliver a 900-unit, RC-frame scheme on time and within budget. You will ensure quality, safety, and conformance to NHBC/building regulations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve design and construction issues. Responsibilities

• Lead on-site teams and supervise subcontractors to deliver work safely, on schedule and to required quality
• Plan and track progress from ground-breaking to completion and ensure compliance with NHBC/building regulations
• Coordinate materials, trades, and utilities to meet programme targets and cost standards
• Ensure drawings and instructions are followed, manage RFIs, and resolve on-site issues promptly
• Maintain health and safety standards per company procedures
• Liaise with customer care regarding unit defects and customer feedback
• Support condoc design/spec adherence and flag design issues early via the Technical Department
• Contribute to achieving target milestones: start on site, show-home, CML, and legal completion within budget

Key requirements

• 10 years+ experience in construction management within the house-building sector
• Track record delivering projects on time and on budget
• Experience on RC frame developments from groundworks to finishing
• Strong knowledge of Asta programming
• Experience overseeing trades/subcontractors, scheduling, material orders, programming, snagging, and liaising with sales
• Ability to coach and develop junior team members
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to lead by example
• Capability to plan and organise teams to meet objectives and deadlines
