Overview
In this role you will support Citi’s Technology Investment Banking team on advisory and capital-raising engagements for software, AI, FinTech and related tech companies. You will work with senior bankers to prepare pitches, analyze data and build complex models that drive deal decisions. You’ll research markets and company performance to inform strategy and help clients navigate mergers, acquisitions and financings. This is a fast-paced, client-facing role that contributes to Citi’s expanding technology banking franchise and deal flow.
Responsibilities
- Support senior bankers on client transactions and assignments
- Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials and exhibits for pitches and live deals
- Organize and analyze sophisticated financial data for proposals and strategic plans
- Conduct economic/financial research and industry market trend analysis
- Evaluate company financial performance
- Build complex financial models for valuation and M&A analysis
Key requirements
- Prior experience in investment banking, private equity or related fields
- Strong interest to work with technology companies
- Experience evaluating corporate transactions and structures
- Experience in financial analyses including modelling and valuation
- Strong presentation skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Experience assisting with client development
- Ability to work with teams and track business development
