Equity Research Analyst (Mandarin Speaker)

Overview

In this role you will conduct fundamental research on Chinese equities and develop investment insights to inform portfolio allocations. You will collaborate with experienced portfolio managers and engage with Chinese company management to shape recommendations. You will build and validate financial models, evaluate business models and macro drivers, and clearly present ideas to the investment team. This position offers exposure to the Chinese equity universe and a collaborative, research-driven environment that supports career growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with portfolio managers to support investment decisions
• Perform fundamental research on Chinese stocks and build complex financial models
• Evaluate business models and macro conditions affecting covered companies
• Conduct Mandarin-language management meetings and conferences with Chinese companies
• Present research ideas clearly to the investment team to influence decisions

Key requirements

• Relevant equity research experience with buy-side or sell-side firms
• Fluency in Mandarin (essential)
• Strong academic background
