Regulatory Manager Plant Protection

Overview

In this role you guide regulatory submissions for EU plant protection products and lead multi-disciplinary project teams. You’ll build strong relationships with clients and regulators, shaping regulatory strategies and ensuring compliant, timely dossiers. You’ll help grow the regulatory services business and act as the point of contact for negotiations with EFSA, the Commission, and Member States. This position blends science, regulatory affairs, and client leadership within a collaborative, learning-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic regulatory guidance to clients and peers
• Lead multi-disciplinary projects and coordinate dossier preparation for active substances and products
• Maintain and develop relationships with clients and regulatory authorities to secure repeat business
• Assist in developing new regulatory services business with existing and new clients
• Serve as focal point for negotiations with EFSA, the Commission and Member States on behalf of clients
• Develop an established client network and directly manage these relationships

Key requirements

• BSc or higher in chemistry, biology, agricultural science or related field
• Proven regulatory affairs track record for plant protection products at EU and member state level
• Plant protection product knowledge and experience
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex regulatory issues
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder relationships
• CV with publications (published, in review, or pending)
