Advisory Growth Lead – Digital Transformation

Overview

As Digital Transformation Growth Lead you will drive growth and delivery of WSP’s digital transformation work across priority UK & Ireland markets. You will blend business development with hands-on client delivery, shaping propositions that combine digital, data and AI-enabled change. You’ll operate as a senior advisor to clients, turning relationships into sustained revenue and impactful outcomes. You join a cross-functional leadership team focused on connecting advisory, digital and infrastructure expertise to solve real client problems and advance transformation across public sector and regulated infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and pipeline growth for digital transformation work across local government, central government, transport, water and energy
• Operate as a seller-doer: shape opportunities, lead bids, convert relationships into work, and deliver or direct high-value engagements
• Develop and market clear propositions blending digital, data, AI, automation, service transformation and operating model change
• Provide leadership across digital transformation projects to ensure commercial strength, technical credibility and measurable client outcomes
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior clients on how digital, data and AI can improve services and drive organizational change
• Collaborate with sector, account and technical teams to offer integrated advisory, digital and infrastructure expertise
• Build external profile through client conversations, thought leadership and industry networks
• Coach teams to build digital transformation consulting capability including business development, delivery, adoption and practical implementation

Key requirements

• Strong track record of building and winning digital transformation advisory work in professional services, consulting or infrastructure
• Experience with priority markets: local government, central government, transport, water, energy or regulated infrastructure
• Proven seller-doer capability: originate opportunities, shape propositions, lead bids and deliver when needed
• Solid understanding of digital transformation, data, AI, automation and technology-enabled change with practical, outcome-focused communication
• Experience moving from strategy to delivery including adoption, operating model change, governance, capability building and benefits realisation
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated client solutions
• Collaborative, entrepreneurial and practical leadership style to grow a business and build client confidence
