Overview

Responsibilities

• Deliver consultations across face-to-face, video, and telephone modalities
• Manage acute, chronic, and emergency presentations with appropriate urgency
• Provide domiciliary visits for housebound patients
• Oversee chronic disease management programs and individualized care plans
• Perform minor surgical procedures within governance frameworks
• Establish and maintain referral pathways to secondary care
• Mentor junior medical staff and supervise learners
• Lead and participate in CPD and continuing education programs
• Engage in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to clinical governance and high-standard care delivery

Key requirements

• GMC registration with license to practice and GP Register inclusion
• Extensive NHS General Practice experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and revalidation
• Knowledge of current clinical guidelines and governance frameworks
