PR Account Director

Overview

In this role you lead and grow a portfolio of consumer PR accounts at One Green Bean, guiding integrated communications programmes and high‑impact storytelling. You’ll work with the senior team to deliver excellent work, strengthen client relationships, and drive new business initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. You shape editorial outcomes, manage budgets and timelines, and mentor a team to elevate creative and strategic delivery. This is an opportunity to influence campaigns with a hands-on, senior voice within a globally connected agency network.

Responsibilities

• Direct a portfolio of clients, coordinating strategy, approvals, budgets and timelines
• Provide strategic counsel and craft brand narratives aligned with client briefs
• Oversee media campaigns and activations with strong editorial outcomes
• Plan, manage and evaluate campaigns and events, ensuring quality and timely delivery
• Lead and develop client teams, fostering performance, cross-functional collaboration, and knowledge sharing
• Contribute to new business opportunities from brief to presentation
• Initiate AI strategy for accounts and integrate AI-driven insights where relevant
• Forecast hours, billings and resource needs; ensure accurate invoicing

Key requirements

• Experience at Account Director level with consumer accounts
• Proven ability to manage and mentor teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of media landscape and able to advise on media strategy
• Ability to develop insights from research and shape strategy and narratives
• Experience running year-long, complex communications programmes
• Excellent written communication and high-quality client-facing outputs
