Overview

Seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead public sector projects in West London for a well-established main contractor. You will oversee new build and refurbishment work in education, healthcare, and social housing, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to high quality standards. You will manage project teams, coordinate with clients and supply chain, and uphold safety and compliance across sites. This role offers the chance to shape project delivery within a growing regional contractor with a long-standing client base.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a range of public sector projects in West London (education, healthcare, social housing)
• Manage project teams and subcontractors to achieve targets
• Ensure projects meet time, budget, and quality standards
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and supply chain
• Maintain health and safety, quality assurance, and contractual compliance across sites
• Support site teams to maximise performance and resolve issues
• Liaise with regional offices as needed
• Maintain client relationships and reporting for project progress

Key requirements

• Track record working for a reputable main contractor as a Contracts Manager
• Experience on public sector projects (education, healthcare, social housing)
• Experience with new build and refurbishments
• Strong management skills to lead teams and maximise performance
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
• Able to commute to West London daily and occasionally to Watford, Hertfordshire
