Senior Finance Analyst – Finance, London

Overview

In this role you will partner with international leadership to drive planning, budgeting and performance analysis across CoStar’s international entities. You will manage P&L and balance sheet for select products/services, support audits, and develop data-driven insights to inform growth opportunities. You will help automate reporting and contribute to an AI-enabled finance function. This is a high-impact role within a collaborative, fast-paced finance team driving strategic decision making.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance business partner to senior stakeholders across international operations.
• Manage the P&L and balance sheet for specified international products/services.
• Ensure monthly data accuracy and timeliness; deliver month-end results and management accounts commentary.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and key drivers; provide insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Product to assess growth, pricing and ROI.
• Produce executive-level reporting and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and manage financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Support AI transformation efforts to automate processes and improve reporting efficiency.
• Assist with external audits, including preparing deliverables and facilitating review of close and reconciliations.

Key requirements

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Experience in managing and developing reporting with large data volumes
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial planning and reporting systems
• Experience of monthly close cadence
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
