DevOps Engineer – Prop Trading

Overview

In this role you will design and support highly available trading systems and related platforms. You will join a small, global team focused on a new digital assets initiative, collaborating across time zones to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure. You leverage modern tech such as Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, and CI/CD to meet demanding performance and reliability needs. You will work in a relaxed, tech-driven environment that values thoughtful decision-making and practical speed to value.

Responsibilities

• Design and support highly available systems across a diverse tech stack
• Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters
• Monitor and alert using Prometheus and Grafana
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Support Postgres in highly available configurations
• Provide Linux platform support
• Handle basic TLS concepts and security considerations
• Work with networks, multicast and websockets to ensure reliable communications

Key requirements

• Experience supporting mission critical systems
• Operational experience with Kubernetes
• Monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana
• CI/CD pipeline development
• Python proficiency
• Postgres support in HA environments
• Linux platform support
• Basic TLS knowledge
• Network communications experience (multicast, websockets)
