In this role you will be embedded within client legal teams to deliver practical, commercial advice on real estate and planning matters. You gain in-house experience while staying connected to the resources and training of a top-tier firm. You will handle property transactions, landlord/tenant work, and planning developments across diverse sectors. Responsibilities

• Advise on commercial property transactions, landlord and tenant matters and development projects
• Support planning applications, appeals, inquiries and infrastructure-related planning work
• Work autonomously within client environments and build strong stakeholder relationships
• Strengthen client relationships and identify opportunities for growth
• Provide pragmatic, solutions-focused advice aligned with business needs
• Represent the firm within client teams while accessing full firm resources, know-how and training

Key requirements

• 3-8 PQE (England & Wales, Scotland or other common law jurisdiction)
• Experience advising on commercial property and/or planning matters
• In-house or secondment experience (desirable)
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships quickly
• Collaborative, curious mindset and adaptability to new environments
