Overview

As a Software Engineer at Lyst, you will help build core products used by millions of users worldwide, working with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable features. You’ll contribute to systems that power data ingestion, the website, and universal checkout, shaping the user experience for a top fashion platform. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, designers and product managers to develop new features and execute product strategy
• Design and evolve systems to detect external fashion trends and scale international payments
• Contribution to APIs and services supporting data ingestion, website, and checkout
• Own architectural decisions within a microservices-oriented stack
• Drive user-centric improvements to the customer experience
• Engage with open-source projects and internal tooling development

Key requirements

• Experienced software engineer with a track record of solving large challenges
• Strong in Python (Django) and related stack
• Experience with large-scale architecture and microservices
• Collaboration with data science teams and cross-functional partners
• Commercial mindset focused on business objectives and user experience
• Mentored teams or led engineering initiatives is a plus
