Overview
In this role you will design, develop and maintain secure Java applications for mission-critical defence projects. You will work within Agile teams to deliver cloud-native solutions on AWS, with containerised deployments. You’ll contribute to architecture discussions and help ensure secure, scalable software. This opportunity offers progression from junior to senior levels within a growing organisation.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications
- Build and deploy solutions in AWS environments
- Develop containerised applications using Docker
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Contribute to secure and scalable software architectures
- Adhere to best engineering practices
Key requirements
- Commercial experience developing Java applications
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies
- Strong knowledge of Docker and containerisation
- Experience in Agile delivery environments
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Active SC Clearance
- Eligibility for Enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV)
