Overview

In this role you ensure global regulatory compliance for Gymshark’s products, packaging, labeling and claims, partnering with Product, Sustainability, Legal and Company Secretariat. You will translate evolving regulations into practical actions, support product development, and drive responsible innovation while mitigating risk. You’ll train teams, investigate compliance issues, and help align market readiness with business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Support global regulatory compliance across markets for products, packaging, labeling and claims
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and provide practical guidance to stakeholders
  • Review product compliance documentation, including labeling and marketing claims
  • Advise on development and sustainability initiatives to ensure compliance
  • Conduct regulatory research and horizon scanning to identify trends
  • Monitor regulatory developments and translate into actionable recommendations
  • Deliver compliance training and guidance to the organization
  • Act as cross-functional partner on investigations, complaints and continuous improvement
  • Assist legal team on investigations and regulatory audits
  • Identify and manage regulatory and sustainability risks impacting products and markets
  • Influence product development processes for market readiness
  • Assess emerging issues and propose practical solutions aligned with objectives
  • Deputize for senior team members and support strategic projects

Key requirements

  • Experience in regulatory affairs, product compliance, sustainability, quality, responsible sourcing or related field within retail, consumer products, textiles or apparel
  • Experience with compliance, sustainability or data management systems (advantageous)
  • Ability to work independently and apply sound judgement to complex issues
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in law, science, engineering, sustainability, textiles, environmental management or related discipline
  • Knowledge of marketing claims, product information and compliance principles
  • Understanding of complaint management and corrective action processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a risk-based mindset
  • Experience monitoring emerging regulations, standards and sustainability initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Confident in influencing decisions and driving compliance-focused outcomes
