Project Manager – Partnerships Housing – South East London/ Essex c75,000

Overview

In this role you will lead a 70-unit partnerships housing project in Hornchurch, from enabling works to handover, as the on-site principal. You’ll manage a Site Manager, an Assistant Site Manager, and a QS, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring regulatory compliance. You’ll apply a partnering, consultative approach to maximise productivity and deliverables while reporting at board level. This is a long-term opportunity with a well-established developer, offering stability and scope to influence project outcomes and relationships.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and timelines
• Develop detailed project plans and schedules
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors and consultants
• Ensure planning permissions and regulatory approvals are secured
• Manage project budgets and cost reporting
• Procure and manage contracts and subcontracts
• Oversee day-to-day site activities and progress
• Lead health & safety compliance and risk management
• Maintain stakeholder communications with clients, investors and authorities
• Drive project delivery and handover with complete documentation
