Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of expatriate clients and oversee US/UK personal tax compliance
- Prepare and review personal tax returns and related filings
- Advise on cross-border tax issues and double tax treaty positions
- Support residency and foreign reporting requirements
- Communicate regularly with clients and resolve technical tax queries
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver seamless service and improve internal processes
- Engage in tax planning projects and technical research
- Contribute to best practices and process improvements across the team
Key requirements
- ATT/CTA qualification, or equivalent chartered certified accountant status
- Strong experience in US/UK personal tax compliance for individuals
- Progressive experience in personal tax within professional services or tax advisory
- Expertise in tax return preparation, compliance, and advisory for private clients
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and client engagement skills
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in tax software (CaseWare, TaxCalc, Thomson Reuters) and MS Office
