Clinical Trial Manager – UK (London) – Infectious Disease / Immunology

Overview

In this role you will manage day-to-day operations of clinical projects within Medpace’s Clinical Trial Management Group in the UK, aligning with ICH/GCP standards. You work closely with cross-functional teams and act as the primary sponsor contact for project issues and deliverables. You oversee protocol knowledge, vendor management, risk planning, and site quality to ensure study success. You will contribute to study planning and data deliverables while supporting a mission-driven, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day project operations per contract and regulatory requirements
• Serve as primary Sponsor contact for operational issues and deliverables
• Maintain deep knowledge of protocol, therapeutic area, and indication
• Provide cross-functional oversight and ensure project training for team members
• Review input for study protocol, edit check specs, data analysis plan, and final report
• Develop operational project plans and manage risk
• Manage study vendors
• Oversee site quality and supervise CRAs and monitoring deliverables

Key requirements

• Experience in Phases 1-4 (Phases 2-3 preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of Clinical Trial Management experience
• CRO experience preferred
• Experience in managing overall project timelines
• Bid defense experience preferred
• Strong leadership skills
