Overview

In this role you will lead global Formula 1 hospitality programs for Fortune 500 clients, translating sponsor briefs into impactful events. You will guide event strategy, oversee end-to-end planning and budgeting, and manage on-site execution with cross-functional teams across London and the US. Expect travel and on-track experiences as you partner with race teams, vendors, and clients to deliver best-in-class sponsorship activations. You will shape client experiences and contribute to business development and thought leadership in a fast-paced agency environment. This is a high-visibility opportunity to influence how brands engage fans through live events in sport and entertainment.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on event strategy and manage full event planning, including logistics (room layouts, AV, F&B, decor, signage) and guest experience
  • Coordinate venue research, contracting, and on-site vendor management; develop run of show and programming
  • Budget preparation, tracking, and reconciliation; manage branding and on-site materials
  • Create client-ready itineraries, staffing plans, and event recaps; serve as primary liaison with sponsor race team
  • Lead client relationships, conduct status calls, and deliver clear client communications
  • Own client projects from start to finish, monitor status with stakeholders, and manage resources and workloads
  • Oversee timesheets and finance-related activities for accounts; support new business proposals and costings
  • Contribute to agency marketing through social media, thought leadership, and external promotion
  • Foster culture and develop junior team members; support continuous learning about the sponsorship industry
  • Support new business by participating in pitches and building opportunities from current clients

Key requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of the event industry and wider events landscape; Formula 1 experience is essential
  • Experience in project management and client servicing excellence
  • Experience in corporate hospitality management; able to negotiate and manage suppliers (F&B, creative, signage, AV, transportation)
  • Strategic and logical thinker providing counsel to clients and suppliers
  • Experience managing and reconciling event budgets and large-scale costs
  • Superstar project management skills; proficient with MS Office suite
  • Team mentality and ability to work within high-performing teams
