Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver civil and structural engineering services on complex energy transition and industrial projects
• Act as Lead Engineer, Discipline Lead or Project Manager to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery
• Provide technical leadership across structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, foundations, and site infrastructure
• Develop innovative, sustainable engineering solutions aligned with client needs
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted technical advisor
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, process, and project management teams for integrated solutions
• Support project planning, resource forecasting and risk management
• Mentor engineers and technicians and support chartership progression
• Contribute to recruitment, capability development and succession planning
• Support bids, proposals, presentations and technical submissions
• Promote engineering excellence, safety in design and continuous improvement
• Contribute to best practices, digital engineering approaches and innovative delivery methods

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with ICE, IStructE or equivalent
• Significant experience delivering civil/structural projects in energy, industrial or infrastructure sectors
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinating complex design activities
• Strong governance, quality management and Safety in Design understanding
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and develop business opportunities
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
• Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, programmes and delivery performance
