Senior Solutions Architect, AWS Aerospace & Satellite

Overview

In this role, you will help space-focused customers harness AWS cloud and AI to advance missions, acting as a trusted advisor on secure, scalable architectures. You’ll lead architecture reviews, workshops and demos while evangelizing AWS capabilities to executives and technical teams. You’ll collaborate across teams to shape customer outcomes, develop reference architectures, and share best practices. This role blends hands-on prototyping with strategic influence in a diverse, growth‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate customer missions by recommending best-practice architectures aligned to long-term outcomes
• Build and maintain technical relationships, acting as trusted advisor to customers
• Represent the voice of the customer to influence AWS feature roadmaps
• Create and share best practices, reference architectures, white papers, code samples, and blogs
• Evangelize AWS technology through workshops, meetups, public speaking, and online content
• Contribute to team growth through interviewing and mentoring, and help others develop new skills
• Develop depth in technical domains relevant to customer outcomes and areas of interest

Key requirements

• 8+ years in technology domains (software development, cloud, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures
• 10+ years IT development/implementation/consulting in software or internet industries
• Experience communicating with executive stakeholders and diverse audiences
