Senior Data Analyst

Overview

In this role, you will maintain and enhance the data and reporting framework for a London-based VC fund. You’ll connect and harmonize multiple data sources, support investment decisions, and ensure data quality across valuations and financials. You’ll work closely with the investment team in a small, proactive environment to deliver timely insights and scalable data solutions. This is an opportunity to shape how the firm uses data to drive early-stage investments and performance.

Responsibilities

• Reporting for investor statements
• Monitor valuations for early-stage/private businesses
• Create processes to keep data up-to-date, complete and accurate
• Build and maintain connections between data sets (financials, notes, PDFs, Excel)
• Keep internal investment and co-investment data current
• Support the investment team with data requests
• Develop new data capture and management solutions
• Assist analysis of new investment opportunities using market research and data rooms

Key requirements

• 5–7 years proven data and Excel experience
• strong numeric ability and reconciliations
• experience with Airtable
• ability to build macros in Excel
• excellent data extraction, structuring and sharing for internal reporting
