Overview

As Sales Lead in Europe you own the regional go-to-market to establish Engine’s presence in high-potential European banking markets. You will cultivate executive-level relationships and oversee client and partner engagements from Discovery through to completion, with potential progression to Client Relationship Director for regional accounts. You’ll work with a central team to apply the European value proposition, shaping deals and guiding market-entry initiatives. This role offers meaningful impact by expanding digital banking transformations for banks and financial institutions. You’ll join a fast-growing, agile environment that values ownership and cross-cultural collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the end-to-end market-entry execution plan for Europe
  • Develop and manage senior relationships with banking and ecosystem stakeholders in the region
  • Progress and close opportunities using Engine’s go-to-market model with executive sponsorship
  • Ensure consistent messaging, positioning, and deal motion across geographies
  • Coordinate with central Proposition, Solution Architecture and Enablement teams to tailor solutions to local markets
  • Provide region-specific market feedback
  • Scale a local integrated team in line with the business pipeline

Key requirements

  • 8+ years of senior enterprise or platform business development experience across multiple markets
  • Track record of closing complex multi-stakeholder deals
  • Experience in centrally governed or matrixed organisations
  • Banking or regulated industry exposure preferred (retail or business banking) with IT systems and transformation knowledge
  • Existing trusted relationships with regional bank executives
  • Experience managing and scaling teams
  • Fluent in English and at least one European language (French, German, Spanish, Polish, etc.)
