IT Support Engineer – Tech Driven Trading

Overview

In this role you support end-users within a high-profile algorithmic trading environment, maintaining uptime across a mixed Windows and Linux landscape. You collaborate with Linux, Windows, Cybersecurity, and Network teams to troubleshoot in real time, across three continents. The position offers growth in a fast-paced, flat-structure setting with a strong emphasis on technical skill and initiative. You’ll contribute to keeping core trading infrastructure reliable while developing your technical breadth.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for end-users in trading environments
• Monitor and troubleshoot systems across Windows servers and Linux desktops
• Collaborate with Linux, Windows, Cybersecurity, and Network teams to resolve issues in real time
• Maintain uptime in a 24/7 high-demand trading environment
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve desktop, server, and network issues
• Engage in scripting and automation using PowerShell or Python
• Manage projects independently and communicate clearly
• Support core components including Active Directory and Group Policy
• Assist in performance monitoring and general administration of Windows/Linux environments

Key requirements

• Up to 18 months of experience; fresh graduates welcome
• Solid foundation in computer science and networking principles
• Technical strength in networking, programming, or system administration
• Knowledge of Windows Desktop/Server and ideally Linux
• Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues across desktop/server/network levels
• Powershell or Python
• Strong communication and motivation to grow within the organization
• Ability to manage projects independently
• Experience with downtime-sensitive environments to avoid disruptions
