Production Supervisor

Overview

As Production Supervisor at Gousto, you lead a multi‑tier team on shift to deliver high‑quality Gousto boxes on time. You’ll partner with the Production Manager to foster an inclusive, motivating culture, coaching Section and Team Leaders and supporting people processes. You’ll champion safety, ensure GMP, and oversee stock flow and warehouse systems to meet key metrics. This role combines people leadership with hands‑on operational excellence in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire on‑shift team; run energising briefs and coach Section/Team Leaders
• Support recruitment, performance conversations, and investigations
• Champion safety and wellbeing; enforce safe practices across night shifts
• Drive operational excellence; ensure GMP and equipment checks; learn pick‑by‑light and warehouse systems
• Meet key KPIs (OTIF, stock management, labour/picking efficiency) using data to drive improvements
• Own stock flow; manage stock movements in physical space and Warehouse Management System

Key requirements

• Experience leading multi‑layer teams in production, warehouse, or retail settings
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead
• Role model for operational excellence and safety best practices
• Solutions‑focused mindset with wider impact awareness across shifts
• Excellent communicator with stakeholders and ability to deliver motivating briefs
• KPI and performance management capability; ability to motivate through people
• System savvy; comfortable using systems and dashboards (training provided)
