As a Electrical Engineer within AECOM’s building services team, you will deliver electrical design solutions for complex projects and prepare technical documentation. You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams, support overseas assignments, and apply industry tools to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes. The role offers progression to Senior Engineer and potential international exposure. You’ll contribute to sustainable infrastructure that supports communities and urban environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical design solutions across building services projects
• Develop designs, calculations, specifications, and technical docs
• Produce and review drawings and models using Revit
• Perform lighting design and calculations with DIALux
• Carry out cable sizing and electrical calculations using ElectricalOM / Amtech
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Provide technical input throughout the design and project lifecycle
• Support delivery of compliant, high-quality engineering solutions
• For Senior Engineer: lead projects and mentor junior engineers
• Support overseas travel and international assignments

Key requirements

• Experience as a Building Services Electrical Engineer
• Strong understanding of building services electrical engineering principles
• Proficient in Revit
• Proficient in DIALux
• Proficient in ElectricalOM / Amtech cable sizing software
• Eligible for security clearance process; UK residency requirements may apply
• SC or DV clearance is desirable
