Overview

As a live-in Care Professional, you will provide 24/7 support to a client, focusing on companionship, domestic help, and personal care. You work within a team that values trust, safety, and tailored support based on individual needs. The role involves enabling independence while safeguarding the client’s wellbeing, with meaningful interactions and practical assistance. Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engaging conversations
• Facilitate activities such as hobbies and crafts and accompany clients to appointments and social events
• Perform light housekeeping and home organisation, meal planning and food safety
• Cook healthy meals, including Italian dishes, from raw ingredients
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and continence care; support morning and evening routines
• Support clients with dementia/Alzheimer’s understanding and empathetic communication
• Ensure clear communication with clients and families, respecting diverse backgrounds

Key requirements

• Ability to listen and communicate clearly; build trusting relationships with clients and families
• Respect for diverse backgrounds and beliefs, with non-discriminatory care practice
• Excellent timekeeping, organisation, and reliability
• Good personal hygiene and professional appearance
• Willingness to undergo Enhanced Disclosure (DBS)
• Class 1 business insurance for own car use or reliable transport
• Resident in UK with all Right to Work documents
• Care experience preferred
• No formal qualification required
