Gas Engineer

Overview

In this role you will apply your gas, plumbing and heating expertise to service, repair or install domestic boiler and heating systems. You will work with a variety of employers across housing, commercial, and public sectors, with options for permanent or subcontracted engagement. The role supports both technical delivery and customer-focused service in local areas, contributing to safe and efficient gas installations and maintenance. A strong candidate helps clients by delivering reliable, compliant heating solutions and flexible work arrangements.

Responsibilities

• perform boiler servicing and heating system checks for domestic properties
• carry out breakdowns and repairs on plumbing and heating systems
• install boilers/heating systems as required
• work across housing, commercial, and public sector projects
• operate in permanent or subcontracted arrangements

Key requirements

• minimum 2 years experience as a Gas Engineer
• gas qualifications and ability to work independently
