Procurement Manager

Overview

In this role you ensure high-quality, value-driven procurement for BrewDog, with a focus on sustainable supplier performance and cost improvements. You will manage a substantial supplier portfolio, shape procurement strategy, and drive cross-functional collaboration to meet business goals. You will negotiate critical contracts, uphold health and safety compliance, and develop KPI-driven processes. This is an opportunity to influence supplier excellence while supporting BrewDog’s mission and growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage a supplier portfolio with ~£25m spend; analyze spend, identify opportunities, and measure performance, value and sustainability
• Develop and drive a supplier development program delivering best-in-class performance
• Negotiate key contracts with proper documentation and ensure compliance
• Engage stakeholders across levels to deliver performance enhancements and cost benefits
• Achieve cost reduction and timely contract negotiations to meet business targets and deliver benefits
• Ensure purchasing complies with Health & Safety and environmental laws
• Support Head of Procurement in developing processes and KPIs for consistent, best-in-class services
• Collaborate with internal teams across Retail, Operations, Commercial Finance Analysts, and Marketing to ensure smooth procurement operations
• Promote adoption of BrewDog policies and safety practices and participate in training and development

Key requirements

• Degree or equivalent academic qualification
• Substantial experience in a similar role
• Detailed knowledge of category management across Food, Drink or Services led categories
• Demonstrable project management skills with on-time, in-full delivery
• Significant cross-functional collaboration experience to drive complex changes
• Highly numerate and able to analyse data for decision making
• Strong emotional intelligence and assertiveness for stakeholder management
• Ability to communicate clearly (verbal, written, PowerPoint) and adapt to feedback
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a re-engineering culture
• Experience operating under scrutiny of senior cross-functional management
• Self-motivated with positive energy and confidence
