Overview
In this role you lead the computational backbone that enables cutting-edge biomedical research. You report to the CIO and shape the strategy and management of HPC resources, including storage, thousands of cores, and GPU clusters, to support genomics and bioinformatics. You align infrastructure with a vibrant research community, ensuring sustainable growth, data lifecycle discipline, and strong business continuity. You engage with external partners and leverage emerging tech to boost computing capabilities, while leading a skilled team to deliver high-impact science. Responsibilities
- Oversee strategic development and management of high-performance computing resources
- Manage expansive data storage, thousands of compute cores, and GPU clusters

Key requirements
- Extensive experience managing large-scale HPC platforms in research or academic settings
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Expertise in CryoSPARC, AlphaFold, AWS, and Kubernetes
