Finance Business Analyst

Overview

In this role you support the delivery of change across projects, collaborating with stakeholders to understand problems and document requirements. You will map processes, identify improvements, and contribute to practical solutions within a finance/change environment. You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues to build solid business analysis foundations and drive meaningful organizational change. You’ll be part of a team focused on delivering value through clear documentation and strong stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support business analysis activities across the project life cycle with senior colleagues
• Gather, clarify and document business requirements through stakeholder conversations
• Analyze processes, data and pain points to identify improvements and escalate gaps
• Prepare clear documentation including process maps, requirements, meeting notes and user stories
• Contribute ideas in workshops and team discussions and seek clarification when needed
• Pursue personal development in business analysis practices and internal standards

Key requirements

• Strong experience in a finance, change, operations or analysis environment
• Curiosity and willingness to learn
• Ability to structure information clearly and produce concise outputs
• Comfort working with data, spreadsheets and process documentation
• Ability to prioritise work, manage actions and meet commitments
• Open to iterative/changeable delivery environments
• Interest in financial services, regulatory reporting or data-driven decision-making (beneficial)
