Overview
In this role you will support a leading Living Sector team on major residential and mixed-use projects. You’ll draft and negotiate key development agreements, advise on complex transactions, and manage multi-party interests throughout the lifecycle of high-value schemes. You work closely with senior colleagues and clients, contributing to business development and thought leadership. Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating conditional contracts, transfers and options
- Advising on rights of pre-emption, collaboration agreements, and development agreements
- Supporting the lifecycle of high-value residential and investment projects
- Managing complex multi-party interests and strategic land transactions
- Contributing to business development through client events, thought leadership, and marketing initiatives
Key requirements
- At least 3 years’ PQE as a Solicitor (England & Wales)
- Experience at a large regional or City firm, or in-house with a developer or housing provider
- Knowledge of the UK living sector, including housebuilding and strategic land (build-to-rent and affordable housing a plus)
- Strong technical skills and commercial awareness
