Overview

In this Engineering Manager role, you lead high-performing teams to deliver modern, reliable Azure-based microservices and enterprise integrations that connect with Blue Yonder and other SaaS platforms. You couple hands-on technical leadership with people leadership to raise engineering standards and delivery velocity within a complex enterprise landscape. You’ll partner with architects, product managers and SaaS vendors to accelerate modernization of legacy systems and establish robust, observable services. Responsibilities

• Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across Azure microservices, APIs and event-driven architectures
• Lead design and delivery of integrations with Blue Yonder and other SaaS platforms
• Partner with product, architecture and engineering leaders to define technical roadmaps and manage dependencies
• Drive quality and reliability via observability, DevOps practices and strong service ownership

Key requirements

• Senior-level hands-on software engineering experience with a track record leading teams and delivering complex technology
• Experience designing and operating scalable Azure microservices and distributed systems
• Strong expertise in event-driven architecture, API design, asynchronous messaging and enterprise integration patterns
• Experience integrating enterprise applications with workforce management or similar SaaS platforms
• Ability to modernise legacy technology, simplify landscapes and advocate end-to-end service ownership
