In this role you will manage a busy residential property caseload within a forward-thinking Welsh law firm. You will work closely with a small team to deliver high-quality, client-focused conveyancing services while ensuring regulatory compliance. The role combines hands-on property work with mentoring junior staff and meeting monthly targets. Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied, fast-paced caseload of residential property matters (sales/purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, new builds, shared ownership)
  • Conduct due diligence including title checks and searches; draft contracts, deeds, and conveyancing documents
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, lenders, and third parties throughout transactions
  • Provide clear legal advice on property law, contracts, and client rights and obligations
  • Work with a Case Management System and manage capacity to meet monthly targets
  • Supervise and support a small team of legal assistants
  • Ensure compliance with SRA/CLC regulatory requirements and Land Registry rules
  • Maintain accurate records and deliver excellent client service

Key requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer
  • Strong experience in residential conveyancing
  • Knowledge of freehold, leasehold, unregistered, new build, shared ownership, and remortgage transactions
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Independent decision-making and proactive client-focused approach
  • Thorough understanding of SRA/CLC frameworks and Land Registry processes
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
