Senior Associate, Listed Real Estate – Equities Analyst

Overview

As an Equity Analyst, you will conduct rigorous fundamental research and valuation on a concentrated, long-only real estate portfolio. You’ll lead regional coverage (UK/Europe, with potential exposure to India and the US) and translate analysis into actionable investment ideas. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to inform portfolio construction and drive disciplined, evidence-based decisions. This role offers exposure to global real estate markets, collaboration with a high-caliber team, and opportunities to impact a meaningful, long-term investment program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed fundamental research and financial modelling to evaluate opportunities across listed real estate
• Lead coverage of designated regional subsectors (UK/Europe) with potential coverage of India and the US
• Develop company-level valuations using long-term cash flow forecasts and relative-value frameworks
• Monitor industry trends and company developments to inform investment recommendations
• Prepare investment memoranda and portfolio updates for internal committees
• Collaborate across Private Real Estate, Active Equities and Listed Real Assets, supporting portfolio reviews, data analysis and performance attribution

Key requirements

• Relevant equity research or investment experience covering publicly listed real estate companies (REITs and developers) across multiple European sectors
• Strong financial modelling, accounting and equity valuation capabilities; advanced Excel; familiarity with Capital IQ or similar tools is a plus
• Genuine interest in investing and a disciplined, fundamentals-driven valuation approach
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to distinguish key drivers from market noise
• Adaptability to structured investment processes and to learning the team’s valuation framework
• Clear analytical and communication skills to present and challenge ideas
