Lead Engineer

Overview

As Lead Engineer at Moog Aircraft Group, you drive complex engineering assignments within multidisciplinary teams to deliver end-to-end design and analysis outcomes. You may supervise up to five direct reports, providing technical direction and administrative support to ensure high-quality product development. The role combines hands-on engineering focus with leadership, aligning with our mission to power safer, more efficient flight through advanced actuation and controls. You will work on cutting-edge aerospace technologies in a performance-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering assignments and programmes within multidisciplinary teams
• Act as engineering focal point for design and analysis activities
• Provide administrative supervision to up to 5 direct reports and oversee work
• Offer professional support/analysis to product development functions
• Apply specialist expertise in hydraulic, mechanical, or design/stress to ensure end results

Key requirements
