Overview

As Regulatory Affairs Lead, you will shape and strengthen our regulatory affairs function for a leading trading and reporting consultancy. You will drive engagement with regulators and market participants across UK, EU, and other jurisdictions, translating complex rules into actionable guidance for clients. This hybrid role combines regulatory analysis, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration to support front-office trading solutions. Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory developments across UK, EU, and other jurisdictions
• Identify and map regulatory changes impacting the business
• Analyze regulations related to reference data, bonds, derivatives, and crypto-assets
• Provide reports and recommendations to internal stakeholders
• Create clear regulatory communications for diverse audiences
• Produce updates and reports for senior management and key stakeholders
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, public authorities, industry bodies, and market participants

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in a regulatory context within finance (regulator, financial institution, trade association, or government relations)
• Deep understanding of financial markets infrastructure and regulatory frameworks in the UK and Europe
• Knowledge of bonds and/or OTC derivatives; familiarity with other jurisdictions a plus
• Strong ability to analyze regulatory developments and communicate complex information
