Project Planner / Project Controller

Overview

In this role you will safeguard delivery visibility and governance across a portfolio of high-value programmes. You will work within a collaborative, high-performing environment to shape schedules, baselines, and cost forecasting using industry-standard practices. You will apply EVM, analyse risks, and provide insight to drive on-time, on-budget performance. Responsibilities

• Project Health & Governance: validate assessments, identify risks, issues, and performance concerns
• Schedule Management: validate and assure schedules; develop and maintain high-quality integrated schedules using Primavera P6
• Integrated Baseline Management: own and maintain baseline schedules aligned with objectives and governance
• Cost & Forecasting (EVM Focus): analyze Costs to Complete and EAC; apply EVM techniques to track performance
• Risk & Opportunity Management: lead Schedule Risk Analysis, scenario modelling, and critical path assessments
• Performance Analysis & Reporting: generate insights on cost, schedule, and resource performance; ensure data integrity
• Bid & New Business Support: contribute to bids with robust planning and controls

Key requirements

• Strong project planning and controls across full lifecycle
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6
• Proven experience applying Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Ability to develop/manage WBS, CBS, OBS
• Experience with Schedule Risk Analysis and Critical Path Analysis
• Knowledge of baseline control and change management
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Unifier, ARM or similar
• Excellent stakeholder communication and influencing skills
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
