Professional Support Lawyer – Pensions – Bristol – 6+ Years PQE

Overview

In this role you will provide high‑quality knowledge support to the Pensions team, shaping training and technical excellence within a leading pensions practice. You will develop and maintain knowledge resources, interpret complex legislation, and deliver internal updates and learning materials. You’ll support client work on areas such as automatic enrolment and pensions disputes, and collaborate with the PSL network to drive thought leadership and external publications. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the team’s knowledge systems and resources
• Provide technical support on pensions law, regulation, tax and industry developments
• Prepare and deliver internal training, updates and learning materials
• Support client work in automatic enrolment, public sector pensions, and pensions disputes
• Collaborate with the cross‑firm PSL network and participate in PSL meetings and knowledge initiatives
• Contribute to thought leadership, briefings and external publications

Key requirements

• 6+ years’ PQE in pensions law
• Experience with PSL tasks, knowledge management or technical support
• Strong analytical and drafting skills with attention to detail
• Ability to interpret complex legislation and regulatory developments
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a mature knowledge culture
• SRA registration
