Senior Construction Planner

Overview

As a Senior Construction Planner in our Real Estate Division, you will shape multi-project programmes from pre-construction through procurement and build. You’ll work with Commercial Developer and IST teams in London to deliver integrated schedules, advise clients, and support cost and project teams. You’ll drive programme assurance, manage critical path impacts, and help secure successful outcomes for complex client commissions. Responsibilities

• Create integrated, logic-driven programmes (design, procurement, construction) with build strategy and phasing plans
• Provide pre-construction planning and programming advisory services from early project stages
• Support planning functions across project teams and communicate potential issues
• Produce programme assurance reports and guidance to stakeholders
• Apply critical path analysis and assess change impacts on activities
• Deliver delay and compensation event analyses and related reports
• Generate progress and period programme updates for client and internal reports
• Coordinate client, partners, consultants and contractors’ programmes ensuring alignment and non-compliance resolution
• Assist bidding teams with planning inputs for timely bid submissions
• Collaborate with Cost Management to provide integrated programme and delivery advice

Key requirements

• Proven track record delivering projects as a Senior Planner/Project Planner
• 10+ years’ experience with a UK-based main contractor or project management consultancy
• Experience on Residential, Commercial, Education, Leisure, Industrial, Health & Retail projects
• Proficient in Asta Powerproject; Primavera and Microsoft Project a plus
• Experience providing strategic planning or project controls advice in pre-construction (advantageous)
