Overview

In this role you will identify, develop and close priority sales opportunities in the UK Power sector, spanning generation, networks, storage and integrated energy systems. You will shape account strategies with cross-functional teams to win strategic projects and drive profitable growth for Worley. You’ll apply innovative, technology-driven BD approaches and bring a delivery-minded view to align commercial outcomes with client needs. This is a chance to influence major infrastructure and energy transition programs at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and close priority opportunities across the UK Power sector (generation, networks, storage, electrification)
  • Develop targeted account strategies with utilities, developers and network operators
  • Position Worley for full project delivery opportunities (frameworks, FEED, EPC/EPCM)
  • Negotiate significant projects and ensure alignment of commercial, delivery and customer outcomes
  • Demonstrate innovative, technology-driven BD approaches (including AI-enabled) and a delivery-led mindset
  • Collaborate with Operations and Inside Sales to differentiate Worley and win opportunities
  • Uphold Worley values and support development of others in Inside Sales and early-career resources

Key requirements

  • Extensive experience in business development within large multinational engineering or infrastructure organisations
  • Strong Power & Transmission sector BD, operations and project delivery background
  • Proven track record growing opportunity pipelines and networks with customers, partners, and contractors
  • Experience securing large-scale infrastructure or energy transition projects
  • Sales capability in leading proposals, bid teams, negotiations and full delivery (FEED to EPC)
