Overview
In this role you will manage cost control for new build residential projects within a leading national developer. You will contribute to delivering high-quality communities by applying strong commercial skills and autonomous working, supporting project delivery from Milton Keynes. This is an opportunity to shape cost strategy on diverse housing schemes and infrastructure works, aligning with a mission to build vibrant, well-integrated neighborhoods.
Responsibilities
- Manage cost planning, procurement and subcontractor evaluation on new build residential projects
- Conduct cost control and commercial reporting to protect project metrics
- Support procurement strategies and value engineering while maintaining quality
- Work autonomously within a large housebuilder to meet project deadlines
- Collaborate with site teams and stakeholders to ensure commercial objectives are met
Key requirements
- Degree qualification or other relevant construction qualification (preferred)
- Strong track record with a reputable housebuilder
- New build residential project experience essential
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent all-round commercial skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
