Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and advise on standard and bespoke construction contracts (JCT, NEC, IChemE, IET, ACA)
• Handle a mix of contentious and non-contentious construction matters
• Advise clients across waste, infrastructure, higher education, health, and commercial property development
• Support clients through all project stages, from planning to dispute resolution
• Collaborate with developers, funders, investors, contractors, and consultants
• Manage a varied caseload with potential responsibility for complex, high-value matters
• Coordinate with the broader firm to support commercial property transactions and major projects

Key requirements

• 2+ years’ PQE (or equivalent) in construction law
• Experience across contentious and non-contentious matters or willingness to develop in both
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Collaborative mindset and enjoyment of team-based work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
