Capacity Planning Manager, MMN Capacity Planning

Overview

As Capacity Planning Manager, you will own cross-functional capacity initiatives to improve operational performance across the Last Mile and Middle Mile network. You’ll lead data-driven changes, define project plans, and implement scalable solutions that boost reliability and cost efficiency. You work closely with diverse teams to secure resources, share best practices, and drive strategic transformation. This role offers the chance to influence cross‑functional optimization at Amazon’s transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives to boost operational performance
• Establish and communicate operations metrics to leadership through regular reviews
• Document SOPs and propagate best practices across departments and the network
• Collaborate with stakeholders to secure support and resources for projects and initiatives
• Own the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of large-scale projects

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Math, Engineering, Science or Business
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience in business analytics with proficiency in SQL, databases, and Excel in a business environment
• Experience cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams including operations
