Overview

As Strategic Imaging Account Manager you drive long-term NHS and private clinic relationships in the North East, selling complex imaging solutions (CT, MR, X-ray, and more) to support GE’s healthcare mission. You will lead cross-functional efforts, shape account strategy, and grow revenue within a matrix organization. Your role focuses on delivering customer value, improving experiences, and securing sustainable orders through proactive account management.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage key customer relationships within NHS Trusts and private clinics across the North East.
  • Understand customer priorities, competition, and market changes to position GE imaging solutions effectively.
  • Drive opportunities end-to-end from lead generation to revenue recognition and tender management, including upgrades.
  • Forecast orders and maintain accurate opportunity data in CRM to support performance reporting.
  • Manage territory administration and sales processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Build long-term strategic alliances to protect against competitor threats and grow target accounts.
  • Collaborate across the matrix organization to provide a single point of contact for customers and maximize GE opportunities.
  • Support Regional Sales Manager to advance UKI business, elevating customer satisfaction and order growth.

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in selling medical imaging technology in national healthcare.
  • Industrious with high commercial intensity
  • Excellent English communication, both written and oral
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills
  • Significant Sales Account Management experience
  • Ability to travel across the UK and work across locations as needed
  • Strong analytical and process skills; comfortable with CRM tools and MS Office
