International Trade Compliance Analyst

Overview

In this role you ensure Hexcel’s international material, tech, equipment and software movements comply with global trade rules. You will work within the ITC group across multiple bases (France, UK, Spain) to validate shipments, licenses and classifications. You’ll drive process improvements, support licensing and training, and collaborate with logistics partners to uphold compliance at scale. This role offers the chance to shape cross-border operations in a global manufacturing leader.

Responsibilities

• Apply EU/UK/Morocco trade regulations across customs and export controls
• Manage day-to-day export activities and perform export audits using CHIEF, DELTA, etc.
• Procure and track Dual-Use and Military licenses, maintain license logs
• Classify HTS/ECCN accurately and support AX/D365/OCR system usage
• Coordinate with logistics partners and participate in service review meetings
• Support AEO program and related non-European supply chain security initiatives
• Resolve screening results with internal teams and distributors using OCR or similar tools
• Identify process improvements and develop data-driven recommendations for management

Key requirements

• Advanced degree or Bachelor in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or International Trade
• 5 years of export/import compliance experience
• Strong knowledge of European customs, dual-use and military exports laws
• Ability to communicate across levels and cross-cultural teams
• Strong understanding of Incoterms, cargo insurance, and shipping paperwork
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; capable of training globally
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, document libraries, and database management
• Familiarity with integrated logistics management and problem solving/decision making
