Overview
As an Associate Software Engineer on Satori, you’ll contribute to an enterprise AI agent platform that orchestrates capabilities across Proofpoint’s product portfolio. You will work closely with senior engineers to ship features and runtimes for agent-based services used by product teams protecting critical communications for Fortune 100 customers. You’ll help uphold release readiness through eval suites, safety checks, telemetry, and AuthX, while learning how mission-critical agent software is built at scale. Responsibilities
- Implement components of agent runtimes and SDKs used by product teams
- Help ensure release readiness with eval suites, safety checks, telemetry, and AuthX
- Ship code and support production-grade services
- Collaborate with senior and staff engineers to learn enterprise platform-level tradeoffs
- Operate within a high-bar, non-deterministic system environment
Key requirements
- Experience or MSc in a microservices cloud environment, or equivalent experience
- Strong Python experience; TypeScript/Node.js a plus
- Exposure to agentic or LLM-based systems and telemetry/observability concepts
- Familiarity with cloud-native development, containers, and AWS is advantageous
- Good communication, collaboration, and willingness to participate in on-call rotation
- Readiness to work on-site in Belfast four days per week
