Senior or Principal Landscape Architect / Landscape Planner

Overview

In this role you will lead landscape and visual assessments while directing design for urban realm and mixed‑use projects within a BIM level 2 setting. You will work closely with a cross‑functional, UK‑based team to win client engagements and guide projects from analysis through to construction. You’ll mentor junior colleagues, run workshops, and contribute to the firm’s innovation and thought leadership. Responsibilities

• Lead Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments
• Act as design lead on urban realm and mixed‑use developments across LI/RIBA stages (BIM level 2)
• Prepare bids for small to complex multi‑disciplinary projects
• Manage and delegate work to junior team members
• Engage clients through design advice, workshops and stakeholder events
• Collaborate in internal multi‑disciplinary groups promoting innovation and excellence
• Author and coordinate Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments (as Landscape Planner)
• Lead on design projects through initial site analysis to construction documentation

Key requirements

• Degree in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent
• Postgraduate Diploma/Masters in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent
• Track record authoring LVIA/LVIA Assessments
• Proven delivery of landscape and urban design projects from concept to construction data
• Technical proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley and Adobe Creative Suite
• Fluent English with strong communication skills
