Overview

In this role you shape the Radiotherapy product portfolio to drive commercial success. You work closely with customers, clinicians and development teams to identify required systems and solutions and define a compelling product vision for the next 5 years. You balance a profitable portfolio through disciplined product introductions and withdrawals, pricing strategy, and lifecycle cost controls. You engage across functions to ensure ROI, manage risks, and align stakeholders toward growth targets. This is a high-impact position at Teledyne’s product management leadership, focused on delivering value in a demanding healthcare market.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the market and develop competitive analyses
  • Travel to key accounts (minimum twice per year)
  • Collaborate with engineering to understand technology changes
  • Monitor, report, and adapt the strategic plan
  • Engage with users to capture needs and relay them to stakeholders
  • Define a 5-year vision and strategic plan to exceed financial targets
  • Crowdsource ideas for future development from a broad stakeholder base
  • Identify product value and establish pricing strategy for revenue and margin
  • Define marketing strategy and implement with Marketing Manager
  • Collaborate with Project Delivery to build roadmaps and assess ROI
  • Coordinate release schedules with operations for smooth NPI
  • Drive product delivery per plan, manage approvals and resources
  • Evaluate partnerships and licensing opportunities with external parties
  • Manage full product lifecycle: introduction, maturation, rationalisation, withdrawal
  • Apply value-based pricing considering development and manufacturing costs
  • Identify acquisition opportunities and share with M&A lead
  • Work with Sales to forecast and ensure revenue delivery
  • Share forecasts with Operations for capacity planning and capital investment
  • Improve customer satisfaction by representing the customer and driving corrective actions in deliveries, quality and returns

Key requirements

  • Experience in a high-level commercial role spanning Finance, Sales, Operations and Purchasing, preferably with technology focus
  • Healthcare domain experience desirable but not essential
  • Proven leadership and ability to influence
  • Strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder engagement
  • Direct customer engagement delivering measurable commercial progress
  • Experience capturing requirements and assigning commercial value
  • Budget management and delivery against budgets
  • Proactive risk identification and management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
