Overview

As a Research Analyst at Citi, you will apply expert analysis to high-profile stocks, shaping insights for Citi’s franchise and client base. You will collaborate with Sales, Trading, and outside clients, translating trends into actionable investment ideas. You’ll manage risk and uphold compliance while delivering thought-leading research. This role offers impact through influencing strategy and client decisions in a global, regulated environment. You will be supported by a team that values rigorous analysis and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Cover high-profile stocks and build lead coverage
• Market ideas to Citi’s institutional clients and internal partners
• Collaborate with Sales and Trading to develop Citi’s franchise
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, policies, and ethical standards
• Demonstrate independent thinking and deliver innovative research output
• Achieve client recognition through strong coverage and externally-facing activity

Key requirements

• MBA/CFA preferred
• Significant client references as a top three sector analyst
• Licenses required
