B1 Licensed Engineer – Edinburgh

Overview

In this role you will perform hands-on line maintenance on Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 fleets from Edinburgh, supporting rapid operations and AOG recovery. You will work with the EDI team to ensure safety and regulatory compliance, mentoring junior mechanics and apprentices. This is a fast-paced position at Europe’s leading airline, offering opportunities to contribute to fleet reliability and service delivery. You will be part of a dynamic maintenance team, shaping aircraft availability and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 fleets
• Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery
• Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to procedures and regulations
• Supervision and mentoring of Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices

Key requirements

• Aircraft Line Maintenance experience (Essential)
• EASA or UK CAA Part-66 B1 License (Essential)
• Boeing 737-Max Type Endorsement & Recency (Desirable)
• Excellent communication skills (Essential)
• Good IT Literacy with AMOS Experience (Desirable)
• Unrestricted right to work in the UK and Full UK Driving Licence
• Demonstrate 5 years Maintenance Experience and complete EASA Module 9 & 10 (as applicable)
